The Japan Society of Northern California is hosting a members-only gathering where you’ll have the opportunity to meet our board, staff and other members! Jake Myrick of Sequoia Sake will be showcasing “San Francisco’s freshest sake” and discussing the brand. They will have samples for you to try, so come mingle and drink with us!
The Annual General Members Meeting is complimentary for JSNC members. New members are also encouraged to register and attend. We have limited capacity, so we encourage you to register early!

Sequoia is Sequoia Sake’s signature brand, which is a unique, delicious, and unpasteurized sake created to fit the diverse American palate and food culture. All of Sequoia Sake’s drinks are Junmai, which means that four simple-yet-satisfying ingredients are used: water (from the glacier-carved Yosemite water-shed), rice (grown in the Sacramento valley), heirloom koji and native sake yeast. You certainly won’t want to miss sampling these mouthwatering sakes!
You must be at least 21 years old to be of legal drinking age. We ask those of legal drinking age to please drink responsibly.
