The Japan Society of Northern California Annual Fund Drive is an excellent opportunity to offer your gesture of recognition and support of many programs, lectures, conferences and events throughout year. Our hardworking and dedicated staff may be small, but our impact is felt throughout the Bay Area as we continue to support local school districts, recognize enterprising entrepreneurs in the U.S. and Japan, and support the cultural growth and development for the San Francisco Area global citizen.
Founded in 1905, the Japan Society is an educational non-profit organization dedicated to promoting cooperation and understanding between the peoples of Japan and the US. Your support allows us to continue to provide exciting programs, build community partnerships and organize one-of-a-kind events in our Bay Area community. Our success is made possible by the generosity of individuals like yourself.
No gesture of support is too small and every act of kindness counts. Your contribution helps us to continue our mission to strengthen cooperation and understanding between the peoples of the United States and Japan in a changing world. Whether that is through our language classes in San Francisco, Palo Alto and San Jose, our special cultural workshops on topics varying from ikebana to contemporary anime, or through our recognition of individuals and organizations that have helped to bring the U.S. and Japan ever closer, we are dedicated to remaining the premier forum of Japan-U.S. relations on the West Coast.
The Japan Society is a registered 501(c)(3) tax-exempt, non-profit organization. Your contribution to the Japan Society may be tax deductible. You will receive a letter of recognition after your donation has been processed. Please use that letter as a receipt for your donation.
