DESCRIPTION:※日本語を教えるにあたり、英語で文法や語彙を説明できる英語力が必要となります。英語を使って日本語を教える方、もしくは、現在は十分なレベルに達していない場合でも、今後、英語力を向上させるために積極的に努力する意思がある方が対象となります。\n※本講座は、授業内容を日本語で理解できるレベルの方のみお申し込みいただけます。\n※This course is only open to applicants who have sufficient Japanese proficiency to understand the course content taught in Japanese. \n秋クラス｜初級日本語の教え方　(9/4/2026 スタート)：現在受付中！『げんき Vol. I』を使用し、初級文法の教え方を学びます。 \n日本語を初めて教える人のためのコースです。日本語の文字・音声・文法の基礎について、自ら考えながら学びます。普段何気なく使っている日本語のルールを分析し、自分なりに発見・理解する力を養います。また、コースデザインやレッスンプランの作成にも取り組みます。最終的には、初級レベルの日本語文法を教えられるようになることを目指します。 \n各クラス全12回・1回2時間『げんき』初級を修了された方には、秋学期のグループクラスにおいて、授業見学や簡単なアシスタント業務を含むシャドーイングにご参加いただける場合があります。ただし、受け入れの可否は各クラスの状況によって異なります。また、十分な日本語指導スキルと指導経験をお持ちの方には、プライベートレッスンをご担当いただく可能性があります。ただし、本講座の受講が、修了後のクラス担当を保証するものではありませんので、あらかじめご了承ください。 \n到達目標\n日本語の文字と音の特徴がわかるようになる\n日本語の文法の基礎がわかるようになる\nコースデザインが作れるようになる\n教案が作れるようになる\n簡単な文法が教えられるようになる \n

DESCRIPTION:Do you have a solid foundation of essential Japanese? Have you completed your JLPT N4 test and are studying for JLPT N3? Let’s help you level up your pre-intermediate Japanese skills! \nWe are now accepting students for a 10-week workshop on intermediate conversations. Under the steady guidance of Ikunaga sensei\, 6 students will have the opportunity to flex their Japanese capabilities over Zoom for 2 hours at a time. In this intimate group setting\, Ikunaga-sensei will be able to gauge the needs of each student and adjust the subject matter to these needs. DESCRIPTION:This course is designed for those who passed JLPT Level N3 or equivalent. In this class\, listening comprehension and conversation practice will be the focus\, as well as reviewing grammatical items and structures for the intermediate level.  Through drill exercises\, discussion and speech\, the goal of this class is to develop your conversation skills and fluency. With minimal kanji and vocabulary practice\, this class will be lively and fun.  \nWe are now accepting students for a 12-week workshop on advanced conversations. Under the steady guidance of Matsui sensei\, 6 students will have the opportunity to flex their Japanese capabilities over Zoom for 2 hours at a time. DESCRIPTION:Arts from Japan opens its inaugural season with an extraordinary evening of sound and story. Singer-songwriter and pianist Akiko Yano joins Tsugaru-shamisen virtuoso Hiromitsu Agatsuma for a San Francisco debut performance drawn from their acclaimed 2020 album\, “Asteroid and Butterfly.” Together they reimagine traditional Japanese folk songs (min’yo) through jazz\, pop\, and improvisation\, pairing Yano’s genre-defying piano and vocals with Agatsuma’s blistering shamisen technique. \nDon’t miss this Opening Night Flagship Recital at the Barbro Osher Recital Hall.
