DESCRIPTION:Do you have a solid foundation of essential Japanese? Have you completed your JLPT N4 test and are studying for JLPT N3? Let’s help you level up your pre-intermediate Japanese skills! \nWe are now accepting students for a 10-week workshop on intermediate conversations. Under the steady guidance of Ikunaga sensei\, 6 students will have the opportunity to flex their Japanese capabilities over Zoom for 2 hours at a time. In this intimate group setting\, Ikunaga-sensei will be able to gauge the needs of each student and adjust the subject matter to these needs. DESCRIPTION:This course is designed for those who passed JLPT Level N3 or equivalent. In this class\, listening comprehension and conversation practice will be the focus\, as well as reviewing grammatical items and structures for the intermediate level.  Through drill exercises\, discussion and speech\, the goal of this class is to develop your conversation skills and fluency. With minimal kanji and vocabulary practice\, this class will be lively and fun.  \nWe are now accepting students for a 12-week workshop on advanced conversations. Under the steady guidance of Matsui sensei\, 6 students will have the opportunity to flex their Japanese capabilities over Zoom for 2 hours at a time. SUMMARY:Japan's Hidden Coastal Treasures: Travel Through the Eyes of a Naturalist

Registration must be approved to secure a spot. \nJapan is a land of extraordinary natural beauty\, rich traditions\, and countless hidden treasures. Beyond the familiar destinations of Tokyo\, Kyoto\, and Osaka lies another side of Japan\, one best discovered by sea. \nJoin the Japan Society of Northern California and Hankyu Travel International for a special travel event featuring Ryo Ijichi\, an experienced naturalist and Expedition Leader with PONANT\, who will introduce us to some of Japan’s most fascinating yet lesser-known coastal towns. \nDrawing on his extensive experience exploring remote regions around the world\, Ryo\, from naturalist point of view\, will take us on a journey to secluded islands\, historic fishing villages\, and beautiful coastal communities rarely visited by international travelers. \nWhether you are a seasoned traveler\, a cruise enthusiast\, or simply looking for a new way to experience Japan\, this event will inspire you to discover a side of the country you may never have imagined! \nSpace is limited to 50 participants. If we receive more than 50 registrations then we will switch to a lottery system. The event will take place in Millbrae\, but exact location will be shared with invited participants only.
