Join the Japan Society of Northern California for a virtual gathering dedicated entirely to gyoza! First, a demonstration will be provided by our very own Language Coordinator, Yu Higashisawa, on how to prepare gyoza by hand. An ingredient list will be shared before the event, and if you like you can follow along with the instructions at home. Afterwards you can enjoy your meal while watching an episode of “Midnight Diner” with us through Teleparty.
“Midnight Diner” is a television series that follows the mysterious proprietor of a late-night diner, known only as “Master”. Each episode revolves around the creation of a particular Japanese dish- in this case, gyoza!
You can read more about the series here.
