BioJent and The Japan Society of Northern California invite you to an exclusive workshop for biotech entrepreneurs in Japan. This program is funded through a grant from the US Embassy and will feature leading biotech entrepreneurs and investors who will share their secrets about successful go-to-market and funding strategies for biotech startups. Entrepreneurs who are chosen to participate will have a chance to test their skills by taking part in a mini-pitch contest at the end of the program. The program will take place in Tokyo on Dec. 12, 2023 from 1-7 pm at the LINK-J facilities in the Nihonbashi Life Science Building.Don’t miss this chance to connect with industry leaders and position your biotech venture for success. FAQ
Question 1: Will the pitch be made in English or is Japanese allowed?
Answer 1: Yes, Japanese will be allowed. 6 of the 8 Judges speak and understand Japanese.
Question 2: Will anyone who applied be accepted to make a pitch?
Answer 2: No, not everyone will be allowed/accepted. The organizers are planning on having 50 to 75 attendees with approximately 25 of the attendees pitching to a seasoned group of investors/executives.
Question 3: Will there be any notification to applicants, if they are accepted to make a pitch?
Answer 3: Yes, there will be a notification on or before December 8, 2023
Question 4: Where will this workshop be held?
Answer 4: The workshop will be held at LINK-J Nihonbashi Life Science Building.
