The Japan Society of Northern California and the US-Japan Council would like to invite you to an exclusive no-host dinner on September 11 to meet Evan Felsing, Minister Counselor for Economic and Scientific Affairs at the US Embassy in Japan. Evan is a career Foreign Service Officer who has served in a number of posts around the world, including India and China. He runs one of the largest economic sections in the world responsible for implementing US economic policy in Japan, including managing US-Japan initiatives such as the Competitiveness and Resilience (CoRe Partnership) covering digital, tech and cybersecurity cooperation, the Policy Cooperation Dialogue on the Internet Economy and the Energy Security Dialogue, as well as working with Japan on multilateral fora such as APEC, G7, and the Indo-Pacific Economic Framework (IPEF) negotiations. The section also handles trade negotiations with Japan supporting the US Trade Representative’s Office.
