Please join us in “Building Community and Opportunity!”
The Japan Society of Northern California is pleased to announce the launch of a “Women’s Impact Network” (WIN). The theme of the network is “Building Community and Opportunity.” Engaging women in the workforce is a key issue for San Francisco/Silicon Valley and Japan. New research proves what we have known – diversity in the workforce can be a critical element for innovation, risk management and improved performance. We believe that a Women’s Impact Network meets a need in the Bay Area and together we can be a positive force for change. Our kick-off event features two prominent women who are having a direct impact on women in the US and in Japan. Emiko Higashi serves on the board of several Japanese and US companies. Diana Tidd is Head of Index with MSCI. You will hear about their career successes and challenges and the change they are making and witnessing.
