The Japan Society of Northern California invites you to an exclusive VIP dinner in conjunction with the special screening of Diamond Diplomacy, a documentary exploring the deep cultural and diplomatic ties between the United States and Japan through the shared history of baseball.
This intimate evening will be held in honor of Yuriko Gamo Romer, award-winning director of Diamond Diplomacy, and will bring together distinguished guests for meaningful conversation on the power of sports in international relations and cultural exchange. We are also pleased to welcome Glen S. Fukushima, executive producer, who are expected to join the gathering for a dynamic discussion on the film and its broader themes of U.S.–Japan connection.
Join us for a memorable evening of dialogue, connection, and appreciation for the enduring friendship between Japan and the United States.
*We have an exciting event with Yuriko Gamo Romer that takes place right before this dinner at the San Francisco Public Library. Please consider joining the event starting at 5PM, “Diamond Diplomacy” Screening and Special Director’s Talk!
