About Our Individual Membership

We are committed to providing you with timely, informative programming, and a meeting place for dialogue and friendship with others who share your interest in and passion for all things Japanese.

Our memberships are non-refundable, non-transferrable donations to the Society. Since we are a registered 501(c)3 tax-exempt, non-profit organization, it is possible that this contribution can be deducted from your taxes; please consult with your tax advisor.

A membership lasts for one year from date of purchase, and is required to take our language courses. Having a membership also grants you the opportunity to attend certain events at a discounted rate, and get invited to exclusive programming. Thank you for your support to the Japan Society!

Admission discounts can only be guaranteed for programs put on by the Japan Society of Northern California.
At times, we co-sponsor events put on by other organizations; the admission prices of those events are at the discretion of the event host.
