The world may never know who Satoshi Nakamoto really is, but the new technology he unleashed by creating blockchain has the potential to fundamentally change the way humans conduct transactions with each other. Whether it is used to back cryptocurrencies, record and enforce contracts, store data securely, or connect donors with non-profits, the technology is the ultimate disruptive technology threatening central banks, philanthropic foundations, law enforcement, and the legal and accounting service industries, just to name a few.
Please join us for an exciting program to talk about how blockchain will change our lives here in the Bay Area and in Japan. Both countries harbor ambitions to become blockchain technology champions and to apply the technology to boost productivity and transparency in their economies.
