Are you trying to make more genuine connections with your Japanese companions? Do you feel an unintentional distance between you and your friends? Your words could make the difference. Join us for an in-depth look at the nuances of casual speech in Japanese. This course will touch on topics like appropriateness, slang words and phrases, and authentic reactions with your peers. The youthful and energetic Yuri-sensei will help make modern language more accessible. Practicing natural conversations and listening to common expressions makes this a great ‘no pressure’ exercise that is welcoming for learners of all levels. So if you wish to break out of formal encounters and into friendly banter, this is the workshop for you!
