Japan is a land of extraordinary natural beauty, rich traditions, and countless hidden treasures. Beyond the familiar destinations of Tokyo, Kyoto, and Osaka lies another side of Japan, one best discovered by sea.

Join the Japan Society of Northern California and Hankyu Travel International for a special travel event featuring Ryo Ijichi, an experienced naturalist and Expedition Leader with PONANT, who will introduce us to some of Japan’s most fascinating yet lesser-known coastal towns.

Drawing on his extensive experience exploring remote regions around the world, Ryo, from naturalist point of view, will take us on a journey to secluded islands, historic fishing villages, and beautiful coastal communities rarely visited by international travelers.

Whether you are a seasoned traveler, a cruise enthusiast, or simply looking for a new way to experience Japan, this event will inspire you to discover a side of the country you may never have imagined!

Space is limited to 50 participants. If we receive more than 50 registrations then we will switch to a lottery system. The event will take place in Millbrae, but exact location will be shared with invited participants only.
