Are you a Japanese language class student? You’re invited to a fun and casual virtual meetup on November 5th! Join us online and mingle with your fellow classmates and teachers. You’ll be able to make new friends, test out your language skills, and learn more about Japanese pop culture.
We will also have two special guests tuning in, live from Japan. From the Tokyo Olympics to popular anime to cool new trends, Yuri is excited to share about what 2021 has been like in Japan. And Yurika is a university student who can’t wait to tell you about her experiences working part-time at Okashi no Machioka (おかしのまちおか), a convenience store that specializes in all things snack and candy-related. If you’re interested in tasty sweets or curious about what living in Japan is really like, this is a perfect opportunity to find out more.
It’s a Friday night, so make sure to prepare your favorite drink for a toast (かんぱい). Let’s relax together, and have fun sharing what we love about Japan!
