YPG: Tips and Pitfalls of Networking as a Woman–A Cross-Cultural Perspective

The Young Professionals Group (YPG) is a part of the Japan Society. Their goal is to create a community of young professionals that are either interested in or have some connection to Japan.
For their upcoming event, Tenjin Marketing VP Sunny Cha, Sensor Tower Recruiting Manager Rumiko Matsumoto, and Rakuten Database Administration Manager Asuka Yokouchi, share their experiences networking in the Bay Area and in Japan. They will discuss the steps men and women need to take in order to be successful and safe in the corporate world.
YPG Executive Committee member Tracy Vu will act as MC for the evening.
This event is FREE and open to anyone interested.
There will be opportunities for networking before and after the event, and the schedule is as follows:
6:30 Doors Open

7:50 Question & Answer from the Audience
8:00 Networking
8:30 Doors close
