In Memoriam: Hiroaki Nakanishi

The Japan Society of Northern California expresses its condolences to the family of former Hitachi Chairman Hiroaki Nakanishi and to the employees of Hitachi on his passing. The Japan Society was proud to have recognized Chairman Nakanishi in 2018 for his contributions to stronger business ties between Japan and the US including the San Francisco Bay Area, which hosts Hitachi’s North American regional headquarters. A good friend of the Society, Chairman Nakanishi was an inspirational leader who leaves a substantial legacy in both Japan and the US.
