The Noto Peninsula area on the Japan Sea side of Honshu suffered a devastating earthquake on January 1 of this year. The area is still struggling to deal with the aftermath of the quake, with more than 230 deaths and thousands of people left homeless. Our hearts go out to the people of this beautiful area and the losses they have sustained.
