SUZANNE BASALLA is Chief of Staff at the Toyota Research Institute, a Silicon Valley-headquartered subsidiary of Toyota Motor Corporation that develops automated driving, robotics, and other human amplification technology for Toyota.
LARRY GREENWOOD was President of the Japan Society of Northern California from March 2016 to December 2019. Larry is concurrently Senior Advisor to the Bower Group Asia, a DC-based consultancy, and a non-resident Senior Advisor to the Center for Strategic and International Studies.
HIROAKI KUWAJIMA is a visiting scholar at the University of California, Berkeley, as well as an Executive Research Fellow and Faculty Assistant at the Center for Japanese Studies. He has previously worked in executive positions at Linkers International and Aoyama Shachu Corporation.
We look forward to having these three join us in continuing to make the Japan Society a place for Japanese-American exchange to expand and thrive!
