Come out and support this important fund drive to benefit Japanese kids and families who were victims of the earthquake and tsunami in the Tohoku region of Japan on March 11, 2011. Three years later, despite ongoing recovery efforts, the young people of Tohoku still have many serious needs.
You will have an opportunity to donate to the Taylor Anderson Memorial Foundation, benefiting kids and families in Tohoku through a range of education and family support programs. Even better, GlobalGiving will match your donation, doubling its impact!
You will learn about the work that the Taylor Anderson Memorial Foundation is doing and hear updates on the recovery efforts and ongoing needs in Tohoku. Drinks and light refreshments will be provided.
Register for the event here.
If you cannot attend, you can still donate here.
Donate anytime, but your donation will be matched by GlobalGiving if you donate from 7am PST on March 10 until 7am PST on March 11, in honor of the 3rd Anniversary of the earthquake and tsunami.
