The Japan Outlook program is one of the Japan Society of Northern California’s most anticipated annual events, bringing together experts on Japan and Asia to discuss the year ahead in Japanese politics, economics, and the U.S.-Japan relationship.
This year’s event promises to be particularly engaging, with new leaders in both Japan and the U.S. navigating a complex global environment characterized by war, trade tensions, immigration challenges, and the rise of populist movements.
We’re honored to have two distinguished speakers:
- Glen Fukushima, Japan Society board member
- Prof. Vinnie Aggarwal of UC Berkeley
Their conversation will be moderated by Japan Society Board Chair Larry Greenwood.
The speaking program is complimentary, while the dinner is by invitation only, with a fee of $100. Note that space is limited, so please sign up soon!
