40^th Award of Honor Gala

Our annual “Award of Honor” Gala, JSNC’s signature celebration of U.S.-Japan collaboration, will be held on Thursday, October 8, 2026 at the Grand Hyatt SFO. We are hard at work creating a very special event – and we hope that you will join us.

Founded in 1905, the Japan Society of Northern California is the second oldest Japan Society in the North America. For more than a century, we have worked to foster collaboration and understanding between the United States and Japan through cultural, language, and business programs that serve the Northern California community.

This year’s special event will highlight our organization’s rich history and honor some of the individuals and organizations who have been so critical to our success over the years. We hope that you will join us for a special evening.

The Gala is our most important fundraising and community event of the year. You can look forward to an inspiring and fun celebration in the company of others who share a deep commitment to strengthening U.S.-Japan relations.
